    Register the store

    Add your client's .myshopify.com address in your portal, before they install.

    Your client installs

    They install from the Shopify App Store as normal and choose a plan.

    We see the payment

    Shopify reports each charge to us, so the store is matched to you automatically.

    You get paid

    Commission shows in your portal and becomes due after 30 days.

An example at 20%, not a promise of income. Commission is worked out on what we receive after Shopify's share, so real amounts will be lower when a share applies.

Questions agencies ask

Do I earn from a referral link alone?

No. Shopify doesn't tell us which link led to an install, so commission comes from registering the store. Add your client's .myshopify.com address in the portal before they install. Links are there to send clients to the right page and count clicks.

Do free plans and free trials earn commission?

No. Commission starts with the first charge Shopify actually bills. If a client starts on a trial and then pays, you earn from that first payment.

What if my client already has the app?

A store that has installed the app before you registered it can't be counted as a referral, even if it was uninstalled later.

What if two agencies register the same store?

The first registration holds the store for that app. It lasts 90 days, and if the store hasn't installed by then, it's open again.

What happens if a client gets a refund?

The commission on that charge is reversed in proportion to the refund, and comes off your next payout.

When and how do I get paid?

Commission becomes due 30 days after each charge. We pay by Wise, PayPal or bank transfer, and you can see every payout in your portal.
